Insights you can trust.

My atypical career trajectory is also my strength: I can translate, run stats, problem-solve, prepare your team for a presentation, and help make sense out of (what may seem like) hopelessly messy data. My perspectives are informed by academic social sciences, non-profit program management, government contracting, and higher education.

Current & Previous Clients

Due to NDAs and confidentiality, the projects below are only discussed generally and details will not be given without client consent.

  • I created an executive summary of a 500 page Brazilian Portuguese sci-fi novel that was to be optioned for US film markets, including content translation and cultural considerations

  • I worked with Sensely to translate medical content into Spanish for their patient app and assisted in usability testing (for mobile) as well as localization of text and speech for US Latinx users in California and Texas

  • I was a Portuguese-language rater for the ACTFL Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency (AAPPL), which is a web-based assessment for K-12 learners. Becoming a rater requires a minimum target language proficiency of Advanced Low on the ACTFL OPI scale.

  • I consulted for Strong as they expanded their data monitoring app into the Caribbean and Mexico. I vetted local translators, provided input on appropriate data samples, and developed local user surveys to test for dialect fit.

  • I helped Calibre's team prepare for an oral presentation that showcased their data analytics expertise. This involved developing content, scripts, and coaching spoken delivery.

  • I provided CX and analytics expertise for Tsymmetry for several federal contract bids. This involved technical writing, reviews, and stakeholder interviews.
